I am recruiting on behalf of my prestigious client for a Purchasing Administrator based in Worcestershire on a permanent basis paying £22,000 - £25,000 per annum. Overall Purpose: To support the plant team across all roles of administration including managing and replenishing the stores To support the plant requirements by purchasing consumables, engineering spares, general equipment and contract services Any other Ad-Hoc jobs required by engineering department to complete daily tasks Key Objectives: Procure goods and services in a timely manner through the use of SAP Utilise vendors across BU lines to provide maximum consistency, lowest cost and maximum leverage Interface with vendors with respect to price, availability of materials, and lead time, including team development and execution of vendor supply agreements Ensure that problems relating to pricing, delivery or quality are promptly conveyed to the vendor and resolved in a timely manner Complete all paperwork required for successful running of business in line with Audits Key Result Areas: Weekly/monthly reporting deadlines met Monitor and report levels of MRO inventory Maintain pricing history Completion of all KPI documentation Requirements: Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office SAP experience Strong supplier management skills Negotiating/Influencing skills Project management skills Client relationship management Financial analysis skills Industry analysis skills This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/66810683
