The Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor will assist in the smooth running of a busy stores environment, ordering and storage of materials and will be responsible for the packing and issue of stock in a safe and efficient manner. The role: Assisting and liaising with the Facility Operations Manager and Warehouse & Logistics manager to ensure smooth running of the distribution facility. Assisting in all aspects of QHSE to ensure a safe working environment for all staff based on site. Assisting in delivering KPI’s set by the Warehouse & Logistics manager. Supporting Warehouse and logistics operatives. Assisting with picking and packing of orders. Dealing with incoming and outgoing deliveries. Interacting with customers and suppliers by phone. Counting and updating stock; precisely recording details. Communicating with suppliers about any issues from parcel mailing. You may be required to deliver some goods if needed (van provided). Ensuring correct goods are picked as per requests. Updating in house systems. Picking and packing numerous SKU’s on a daily basis. Undertake receipt and checking of incoming stock in line with company goods in. Process, ensuring all Label and Temperature disciplines are completed as appropriate, and product is correctly located within the warehouse. Accurately record number of ancillaries as necessary on all required paperwork. Ensure that all relevant paperwork, relating to Goods In/Out is completed in full at all times. The requirements: A full UK Drivers Licence (Necessary for the role). Held or have held a Fork Lift licence. Capability to effectively follow instructions and obtain results. Excellent customer service and communication skills. A keen eye for detail to ensure correct goods are always picked. Hardworking and reliable. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes; Word, Excel, Outlook. Understanding of an MRP system. Understanding of warehousing processes and procedures. Previous experience in a similar role. An understanding of good manufacturing practices. An understanding of technical requirements and procedure. Work under pressure. Immediately available.
