Macmillan Davies are working with a large, complex commercial business to recruit an experienced and communicative specialist in the areas of international pensions and benefits. The role comes with a great deal of autonomy and opportunity to make a significant positive impact in the perception, delivery and effectiveness of pensions and benefits across multiple countries. The Detail Reporting to an overall, global head, and interfacing with peers and internal customers across Europe and globally, the main accountabilities will include: Pensions - Accountability for competitiveness and cost effectiveness of company pension schemes across the business on a global basis -Development and implementation of the DB and DC investment strategy -Monitoring all areas of financial responsibility and risk attached to the pension plans -Taking responsibility for compliance, ensuring good governance -Undertaking/approving any required changes Benefits - On a regional basis, overseeing all aspects of benefits programmes, assuring compliance with regional and local regulation, supervising preparation of reports required to be filed with fiscal and regulatory agencies. -Reviewing and modifying existing benefits programmes to ensure the company remains competitive across all markets, where possible obtaining uniform benefit packages for all locations -Proactive networking with internal stakeholders/customers and peers in other global regions to maximise the customer experience and enable continuous innovation. Supporting country HR teams on quotation processes with insurance companies. -External networking - participating in regional and industry surveys Skills and Experience To be considered for this great, unique opportunity, you will need to be able to demonstrate: -Robust, in-depth experience in International benefits consulting/management (essential) -Previous experience in pension funding (essential) -Great customer- and stakeholder-engagement, with excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills -Ability to work under your own direction -Strong computer skills (Excel is essential) -Certified Employee Benefits Specialist status (CEBS) would be a positive - What's on offer? This is a permanent role, paying c.£80-100,000 as a base, plus bonus, car allowance and benefits.
