Our client, a large well-known brand in Marlow, is looking to recruit a Data Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for creating and maintaining product master data primarily relating to Supply Chain activities. The key objective of the role is to ensure that the data is loaded right first time, actively and accurately maintained throughout the product lifecycle. Outside of the core role of master data, you will also have the opportunity to analyse various areas of the supply chain with a view to raise awareness and drive improvements. Key responsibilities: Setup and continuously improve processes for managing master data Batch or manual loading of master data into SAP Take ownership of new product creation to ensure all steps are correctly and timely undertaken by every player in the chain Perform detailed data validation and accuracy checks Maintenance of EMEA Product Hierarchy Manage the material sales statuses throughout the product lifecycle Verification and loading of data to SAP Perform detailed data validation and accuracy checks, including data error handling, exception reporting and compliance with standards / legislation Provide problem solving support, advice and guidance to internal customers Report regularly on data management processes to suggest improvements or alignments to the evolving needs of the business and the regulatory environment Make use of data analytics to answer key business questions outside of master data by providing both qualitative and quantitative analysis on request There may be occasional travel within Europe Key Skills: Educated to degree level (or similar) Previous experience of handling master data, preferably in SAP Highly motivated, with strong analytical and problem solving skills High levels of attention to detail and accuracy Strong understanding of business processes and systems, in particular Supply Chain and Marketing Have a collaborative approach, and must be able to communicate clearly to stakeholders Experience using Business Intelligence platforms Advance skills in MS Excel and Access European languages desirable Please note that we will only contact those candidates that we assess as suitable for the positions we have currently available based on their experience, training and skills that they identify.
