An exciting opportunity has arisen to join specialist crisis prevention and response consultancy NYA International’s expanding team as the Marketing Manager based in London. The position reports to the Associate Director and is broad ranging in its duties, to include, but not be limited to the following: Marketing planning/initiatives Develop and deliver a global marketing strategy and plan for NYA, including the annual planning and scheduling of all events, seminars, press activity, speaking opportunities, publications, announcements and campaigns Plan and implement any relevant marketing campaigns/initiatives Maintain the marketing calendar to track all activity Manage the marketing budget Brand management, collateral and press activity Maintain the integrity of the NYA brand through the monitoring of all of NYA’s collateral, templates/output to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and key messaging Produce and keep updated all of NYA’s marketing collateral, including the website, brochures, annual threat map, guidelines, one pagers etc. To include copy writing, proof-reading, image sourcing and liaison with external design agency and printers Ensure all publications issued by the operations team promote NYA’s various events and workshops Press activity: manage NYA’s press distribution subscription and distribution lists, write and issue press releases and respond to requests for information about NYA’s team and services from journalists (where approved and in conjunction with Associate Director and rest of team) Manage NYA’s social media output Support in the production of presentations and training materials Keep the NYA team and relevant stakeholders up to date on the NYA messages and materials available Events and workshops Monitor/research relevant events and organize/promote NYA’s presence i.e. at UK Security Expo, maritime events etc. Manage NYA’s input, including submission of ideas, presentation content and titles, liaison with event coordinators etc. May including speaking and/or arranging NYA speakers from amongst the team Organise, promote and manage the production of incident management training workshops in global locations (including crisis management, kidnap and other topics, as agreed with the team) Stakeholder marketing and briefing support Work together with Operations Centre Coordinator to provide support to NYA consultants, underwriters and brokers in delivery of marketing and briefing tasks Liaison with underwriters to discuss and support global marketing initiatives, plus production of supporting NYA materials Alongside Operations Centre Coordinator, oversee the production of presentations and other collateral required by consultants on marketing and briefing tasks Respond to broker requests for information about NYA’s team and services Develop and maintain a proactive stakeholder information campaign CRM / revenue tracking Assist in keeping track of NYA’s revenue pipeline, including production of pipeline reports Administer and manage NYA’s CRM system Other Other related tasks in support of the wider team, as required As the Marketing Manager your knowledge and experience will include: Essential: At least five years’ demonstrable and successful experience in a marketing role, ideally with a professional services organization Professional accreditation in marketing and communications Demonstrable experience of running events from conception to completion Copywriting Demonstrable experience of current marketing trends and multimedia platforms Preferable: Educated to degree level in marketing and communications Experience of working in the security and/or insurance industry As the Marketing Manager your skills and competencies will include: Essential: Manager with gravitas who is capable of winning the trust of individuals at all levels of an organisation Self starter with an entrepreneurial flair and outlook First rate written and oral communicator Resilient, whilst demonstrating empathy and humility Commercially astute Team player with the ability to build consensus and develop those around them Possess common sense and good judgement Be calm, creative, resourceful, capable of lateral thinking and always prepared to be part of the solution not the problem High attention to detail and the ability to follow specific client and incident procedures What NYA is looking for in you A highly focussed and dynamic/diligent individual is required with s trong interpersonal skills, effective communication and presentation skills.
