We are seeking to recruit a commercially talented Regional Director to lead our South West Division. You will possess a proven track record of operating at a senior level with full P&L responsibility within a large complex organisation. You will have the ability to influence all stakeholders with experience of developing and enacting business strategy whilst delivering quantifiable results in a matrix management business. Ideally you will have knowledge of the Fire & Security Industry or from an Allied Technical Installation & Service Sector. This high profile and challenging remit will take ultimate responsibility for the sale and operational delivery of Electronic Security Install, Electronic Security Service, Fire Detection (Alarms Servicing & Small Works) and Fire Portables across the South West, which includes Branch Operations in Luton, Thames Valley, Bristol, Cardiff, Plymouth and South Coast As a strong, credible and charismatic leader you will be a results orientated completer who possesses excellent influencing abilities. You will also be highly numerate and IT literate, with proven analytical capabilities. In order to meet the demands of our fast changing, corporate business, you will need to be able to adjust to high pressure, changing business conditions and uncertain business environments. Key role focus will include taking responsibility for achieving the business objectives for the South West Region by achieving Revenue and EBIT targets and delivering the strategy for long-term growth both organically and through acquisition, whilst improving customer retention. This will also entail leading, motivating and developing a strong team of General Managers to ensure all Employees within the Region are developed to their full potential, acting as a figurehead for the Region, linking the Operational & Commercial/ Sales streams of the Business to achieve the best results through teamwork, delivering continuous improvement and ensuring that business is conducted in line with UTC’s ethical principles / EH&S policies & procedures and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
