Technical Sales Engineer – East/North-East England & Scotland Location: Northamptonshire Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Company bonus, Car, Laptop, Mobile & Attractive benefits package Hours: 40hrs per week – Field based 2/3 days per week Are you a solutions driven Sales professional or a qualified Engineer looking to branch into the world of Technical Sales? If so, then please read on and get in touch My client is an established Electronics Instrumentation Solutions provider based around the Northamptonshire area and they currently have an exciting opportunity for a technically-driven Sales Professional within their Sales team. The successful candidate will both manage the accounts and develop business based in the East/North-East England and Scotland area. You will be expected to provide customers with a consultative approach and a solution targeted sale of electronic products, switches and instrumentation, ultimately developing sales and managing the accounts brought into the business. Role responsibilities: Daily use of the company CRM system to generate and manage business opportunities through new and existing customer base’s – Relationship building, account management & internal networking to grow the Sales Area. Visit customers on daily & weekly basis – Expected 10-12 visits per week Attend Exhibitions as required. Support external Technical Sales enquiries when based in the office to include other colleagues accounts & sales area enquiries as necessary. To assist the customer in the design and development of products to suit their specific application with a technical bias – this will include liaising with key suppliers on new projects & products. To be continually proactive and initiative driven in the generation of sales opportunities. Skills required: 2 years’ experience in a Field Sales role preferably within the Instrumentation or simalar industry Technical bias in an Engineering discipline – Electrical, Mechanical or Electronics Good interpersonal & communication skills Team player but able to work autonomously Able to liaise with contacts at all levels Initiative driven and a motivated self-starter If you fit the above requirements or know someone who does please get in touch This job was originally posted as
