Bid Assistant Purpose / Role We are looking for a Bid Assistant to join our Corporate Division. You’ll be based Ravens Court in Redditch. The role is to provide support to the Bid Team, wider corporate sales department and Account Directors through the production of Proposal documents. They will also provide support through the effective use of Social Media (LinkedIn), formatting of PowerPoint presentations and creation of credentials documents. At times they will be expected to provide administrative support with the tendering process and with other ad hoc activities such as industry award entries. Your normal working hours will be between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, you should be prepared to work longer in peak periods of work - flexibility will certainly be an advantage. Key Responsibilities Working in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment, your Responsibilities will include: · The creation of proposal documentation for clients and prospects · Assisting in managing Social Media updates · Formatting of PowerPoint Presentations · The creation of Credentials documentation · The production of Prospect Research · Some elements of design may be required · General administrative support . Person Specification Essential Qualifications / Training · Degree Educated, preferably Business or Marketing related · Maths and English GCSEs Desirable Experience: · Office experience desirable. · Experience in any role similar to this position would be an advantage however is not essential. Personal qualities, aptitudes and skills : The successful candidateshould bewell educated andkeen to take on a role that they can make their own. A self-starter that is able to work individually as well as part of a team; they should be confident with their IT skills and their ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders.They should have an excellent eye for detail and ideally a flare for being creative. Key skills required include: · Attention to detail · Good communication skills, both written and verbal · Creativity · Ability to manage and prioritise workload · Competence with MS Office · Experience with Design Software would be an advantage · Knowledge of LinkedIn would be an advantage Utilitywise plc is an equal opportunities employer.
