Company Fusion Limited is working with a well established group of country house hotels with unique character and historic charm based in idyllic countryside settings. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Duty Manager to join their busy team based in Tetbury, Gloucestershire. The Package - What You Could Earn: Basic salary paying between £18,000 - £19,500 depending on experience Duty Manager - Main Duties and Responsibilities: Consistently achieve product and service delivery standards, driving standards forward and constantly striving to ultimately exceed customer expectations. Be fully converse with operations throughout the hotel and to efficiently manage the operation of all shifts. Promote a helpful and professional image to the customer and give full co-operation to any customer requiring assistance, with a prompt, caring and helpful attitude. Strive to anticipate customer needs whenever possible to enhance quality service and customer satisfaction. Give full co-operation to any colleagues requiring assistance in a prompt, caring and helpful manner. Be flexible in assisting around different areas of the hotel in response to business and customer needs. Positively contribute to the sales activities within the hotel and maximise sales opportunities. Control operating costs within the standards set under the direction of the General Manager. Attend briefing sessions and hotel/departmental meetings when required. Give quality training and coaching in a systematic and professional way to ensure consistent delivery of product and service standards. Create an environment promoting staff morale and encourages employees to have a pride in the area and their skills ensuring maximum efficiency. Positively promote sales awareness within departments and maximise sales opportunities. Ensure safety of the working environment in the department is maintained. Identify and report hazards and maintenance requirements in the workplace and follow up through the General Manager to ensure zero defects. The Person - Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience: You will be an enthusiastic Hospitality Professional with prior management level experience You will have Bar & 2 Rosette Restaurant Experience Previous Close & Open responsibilities You're experienced and confident in all aspects of running and maintaining a successful shift.
