We are an international marketing communications company that brings brands to life across every channel, in every market, all with a local touch. With over 700 employees across 23 sites worldwide, APS serves customers in a range of markets including retail, financial services, travel, automotive, healthcare, leisure, pharmaceutical and the public sector. Our in-house agency MMP has grown rapidly through the acquisition of new, and the development of existing, clients. A lot of this growth has come through the strong Group relationships we have with our large managed services clients. Our onsite studio and managed services account teams afford us the opportunity to have direct contact with key marketing stakeholders and MMP get a number of good opportunities to deliver marketing solutions. In order to further develop these opportunities we want to recruit an Account Director to work alongside our onsite team and the wider agency team to provide the client with dedicated agency support. We want a highly motivated self-starter who has experience in working onsite with a client. Working with a highly skilled and motivated on-site and agency based team, you would be responsible for proactively building the client relationships, looking for opportunities to assist their business by introducing MMP’s services. Key Responsibilities: Act as the on-site account lead for the agency, ensuring it meets the client's objectives Taking the lead in developing and delivering the clients’ marketing and advertising strategies Working with the on-site studio and account management team to farm and convert lead opportunities Liaising with key client stakeholders at a senior level on a day-to-day basis Promoting the expansion of our agency services Using your skills to push the clients, and the agency, creatively and strategically Know all there is to know about the client’s product and service lines, the market and its customer groups Understand the client's marketing objectives in terms of sales, market-share, competitor products Prepare creative, digital and studio briefs that meet client requirements Oversee the various production stages each project goes through, coordinating relevant operational leads as required Assist the client in solving creative, digital and studio based marketing issues problems Essential Criteria: Proven account management and client services experience within an agency environment Understanding of biometrics, data, segmentation and customer experience models Experience of working on-site with a client as part of a multi-disciplined team The ability to plan and strategise at a senior level A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects Excellent written and oral communication skills Effective team management capabilities with the ability to liaise with both on-site and remote teams. A keen attention to detail and budgetary management, highly numerate Strong presentation skills to support new business, client conversion and agency pitches as required (this needs to include creating presentations) Strong analytical and research skills We are an equal opportunities employer; all appointments will be subject to a Disclosure & Financial check.
