Oxford BioMedica, a world leader in Gene and Cell Therapy, has an exciting opportunity for a Training Officer (Compliance) at Windrush Court in Oxford. Job purpose: To ensure that the training requirements for existing staff and new employees with regard to GxP compliance are properly coordinated and fully implemented. For this position, your key responsibilities will be: Induction of new employees and retraining of employees when new procedures are issued Work with departmental managers/supervisors to review staff training needs to meet the GxP compliance requirements of OXB Monitor the training quality and standards of the work being completed in each GxP area on a regular basis, and highlight any concerns to the relevant departmental managers Ensure all employees follow the GxP training procedures and report any concerns if this is not being completed correctly to the departmental managers to ensure retraining can be scheduled Assist departmental managers/supervisors in keeping staff training records up to date with all relevant documentation and evidence required to prove competency of the staff that have been trained Support departmental managers and supervisors with the organisation and structure of training schedule and training matrixes as well as a retraining programme for current staff Produce a weekly training progress report to senior management which will outline the training carried out and any associated issues. Train and inform individuals across the company following correct training practices and procedures. Collaborate with other GxP functions, particularly GMP manufacturing and analytics to ensure suitable training is provided and signed off by relevant parties. Training, mentoring and maintenance of the electronic training management system for the business. Facilitate and organise a GMP knowledge training module programme with relevant subject matter experts for each topic The successful candidate for this Training Officer (Compliance) position will have: A-level or equivalent qualifications in a science based subject Understanding and experience of GMP, GLP/GCP and pharmaceutical industry QA requirements Understanding of quality management systems to ensure correct training requirements are followed across GxP areas of the business Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs for use of training record logs and issuing training related documentation Experience in training system oversight and task coordination in a regulated environment Proactive, ambitious and innovative approach where there is scope for system improvements/changes Good organisational and prioritisation skills Ability to work under pressure to ensure training provision timelines are met Good attention to detail Oxford BioMedica offers competitive salaries and an attractive benefits package which includes a generous holiday allowance, private health insurance and a pension plan.
