Draexlmaier is currently recruiting an experienced Lean Six Sigma Practioner to support the transformation of their global manufacturing organisation. Reporting to the Lean Six Sigma Deployment Director you will be part of a team responsible for delivering the Lean Six Sigma strategy across several sites within Europe and North Africa using the best elements of Lean and Six Sigma. In addition, as the Senior Lean Six Sigma Practioner, you will: · Contribute to the ongoing development of the improvement strategy · Implement the Lean Six Sigma improvement plans locally, establishing appropriate workgroups to safely deliver improved competitiveness across the business. · Ensure Lean Six Sigma improvement plans are aligned to support delivery of the Business plans across EMEA manufacturing operations. · Co-ordinate project selection, ensuring adequate metrics are established and learning is fully shared across the business · Provide mentoring and coaching to assigned Leaders from sites across Draexlmaier (EMEA) region to deliver benefits aligned to site/departmental improvement plans. · Implement and develop the Lean Six Sigma culture change process that can be shared across all areas of the business from shop-floor to executive level. Requirements: · Experience in either engineering team or production leadership would be desirable · Demonstrated leadership beyond direct authority with significant influencing skills. · A minimum of 5years’ experience in a manufacturing and / or technical environment including involvement in business improvement projects and techniques. · Extensive experience of implementing and managing a Lean Six Sigma (or similar) methodology within a large scale manufacturing/engineering environment · Multi site working – and must be willing to travel · Working within and directing multicultural work teams would be an advantage · Management of change within a large organisation · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · German speaking would be an advantage · Certified through an established programme as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or higher.
