Job Title: Internal Communications Manager Location: Southampton, Hampshire Salary: £40k to £50k, DOE Our client, a leading investment business in the UK and internationally is currently looking an Internal Communications Manager. Purpose of the Role: To play a central role in the support, management and delivery of internal communications across the Customer Service function via a range of face to face and digital channels that help build overall colleague engagement and understanding of the company, its Customer Service visions, strategy and purpose. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Acting as main point of contact for internal communications for the Customer Service function. Working with the wider Corporate Communications team and business stakeholders in the delivery of day to day internal communications messages. Working with the Channels and Editorial manager to deliver effective, insight led and outcome driven internal communications across our established channels (Intranet, email, face to face, video etc.) that are timely, targeted, creative and effective. Owning and delivering content and format of staff and management events. Managing and maintaining audience segmentation information. Meeting communications governance, controls and compliance requirements. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the communications function to help create a highly effective, positive internal communications function. Sharing best practice and learning and seek continuous improvement opportunities. Candidate Specification: Previous internal communications experience within an organisation with geographically dispersed employees is desirable. Experience of developing and implementing internal communications and employee engagement plans. Ability to successfully manage projects end to end. Must be highly organised and be able to work to tight deadlines. Strong Stakeholder management skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence. Strong writing and editing skills to deliver clear and concise messages. PC skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook are particularly important). Energetic and dynamic. Experience of SharePoint is desirable but not essential. Experience of Newsweaver is desirable but not essential.
