bpha is a major housing association operating between Oxford and Cambridge, based in Bedford. We are a leading provider and developer of affordable homes – for rent, sheltered, residential care and shared ownership and private sale. We are looking for an experienced HR Analyst with systems and Human Resources experience to join our HR team. This role offers a great opportunity to support the future plans, services and ways of working within a small generalist team. You will work closely with the HR team at all levels to support and improve processes and systems functionality. You will also produce and analyse key management information to support the delivery of wider business goals and targets. Key responsibilities · Continually improving configuration and use of the HR system iTrent, including dealing with queries, coaching/training users, co-ordinating upgrades/fixes, testing new functionality and liaising with the software provider. · Producing regular HR and L&D metrics and ad hoc reports, using both iTrent and the reporting tool Business Objects. · Supporting the L&D Advisor and users with the use and maintenance of learning software. · Developing system user guides and mapping and enhancing wider HR team processes to support the changing business. · Producing information for surveys and benchmarking. This role provides a great opportunity to gain exposure to business partnering within an HR department, combined with regular contact and reporting for the business. About you · You will have experience of working with HR databases as a super user (including further configuring existing modules), with the ability to learn new systems rapidly. iTrent experience preferable. · Demonstrable experience of using reporting tools to build new reports, with the ability to learn new tools rapidly. Business Objects experience preferable. · Data manipulation and analysis skills, with close attention to detail. · Experience of providing key metrics to managers, e.g. Key Performance Indicators. · Strong Excel skills. · Ability to present analytical information to a non-analytical audience. · Strong customer service skills and experience of working in an HR environment. · Proven ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and prioritise own workload. You will be able to work independently as well as within a small team environment with a positive attitude.
