Job Title: HR Systems and MI Manager Job Ref: J028310 Location: York Salary: £38,000 - £41,000 A varied and management focused permanent HR role based in York. Well suited to an analytic candidate with strong knowledge of HR processes and systems. Responsible for managing the payroll function, producing and analysing management information and driving efficiency across the department, as well as managing HR systems and developing the capability of those systems. Working for a modern but well established organisation with its head office in York, reporting to the head of HR. This is a leadership role requiring a motivational, driven and passionate candidate with excellent data manipulation skills, strong knowledge of payroll and HR systems and the ability to oversee the payroll function. You will manage two reports but will also play a key role in the wider HR function, supporting the senior management team with the production and development of statistics and management information. You will not personally process payroll but with oversee it and require the knowledge to manage any issues within the payroll team and to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the payroll function, adhering to legal requirements. This is a hands-on role however and the successful candidate will lead for the front in the development of HR processes and systems, using the in-house HR software and Excel data. Driving productivity and efficiency, through the systems and increasing their capabilities as well as carrying out data audits and training the users of the HR systems. If you have in-depth knowledge of HR and payroll systems, knowledge of payroll regulations and procedures and have a background in a technical and analytical HRIS focused role, we would like to hear from you.
