We have an excellent opportunity for a permanent Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at our Coventry office. We are looking for a dynamic individual with experience in cloud IaaS environments, and a passion for learning. As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be key to delivering cloud platforms for complex application environments. You will lead by example, and ensure consistency and security standards are maintained within the team. You will have experience of automation tools and techniques for environment deployment and management. You will keep up to date with new techniques and delivery methods, taking advantage of cloud service capabilities to create cost effective, scalable and burstable solutions for our customers. WHO DO WE NEED? You will be self-motivated and able to multi-task in line with Agile team's and customer requirements. You must be confident speaking at a technical level to colleagues and stakeholders, and have strong written and verbal communication skills. You will have: Experience in designing and deploying IaaS public cloud services in MS Azure or AWS. Strong security fundamentals, with experience of designing and implementing secure environments Strong experience in remote administration utilizing Microsoft PowerShell Strong experience using Microsoft PowerShell DSC in a Windows Environment for automated Management and Configuration Experience in developing re-usable tools for use in Operations Experience using development toolsets such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and PowerShell ISE Experience using version control services such as TFVC and Git A strong focus on consistency and building repeatable processes that can be tracked and measured Good networking knowledge and skills It would also be beneficial if you had: Experience with Infrastructure management and configuration products, such as Chef, Puppet, and Octopus Experience working alongside development teams and implementing support processes and lifecycle management Experience of SOAP and Rest API protocols Experience in automating complex application or solution deployments Microsoft Dynamics CRM / SharePoint knowledge Microsoft Systems Centre Orchestrator operation experience Experience deploying hybrid Office365 Linux operating systems knowledge and skills Agile team development experience WHAT DO WE DO FOR YOU?
