An exciting opportunity to join this leading US global 50 law firm in their London office with the responsibility for overseeing the HR responsibilities and tasks for their non-US based offices. Reporting to the Chief HR Officer the role this role is responsible for overseeing HR tasks and activities for offices in London, Paris, Frankfurt and Hong Kong. The aim to the HR strategy being to attract, retain and develop talented employees. The role will ensure all the functions within the HR remit comply legally and follow best practice guidelines. This role will be responsible for ensuring the HR provisions are legally compliant and that they align with the firm's business strategy. The post holder will liaise with administrative management and Office Chairs to outline and manage staffing levels and optimisation, alongside recruitment strategies and initiatives. Similarly the role holder will oversee initiatives regarding employee relations, professional development and training, compensation and benefits and policy development in each office location, and in conjunction with local HR teams and resources. This is currently the only non-US based HR position and so the post holder must be prepared to work on operational, administrative and more strategic tasks. To be successful in this role you must have senior level or equivalent experience within HR in either a professional services or legal firm, preferably within an international environment. You will ideally possess an HR qualification as well as a further education academic attainment, and have experience or knowledge of employment regulations within France and Germany. You will have demonstrable experience of excellent communication skills, especially with senior level stakeholders, alongside evidence of having successfully developed and motivation teams and been successful in influencing and implementing strategy and policy formation.
