Ambitious HRBP / HR Manager required to deliver an effective HR strategy across the UK & Scandinavia for a Worldwide Manufacturing Group. Regular visits are required to each manufacturing plant on a weekly or bi-weekly basis (incl. at Plymouth, Northampton and Dudley plants). COMPANY: We are a £3.5 Billion, worldwide manufacturer of precision engineered mechanical components supplied to original equipment (OEMS) and Tier 1 / 2 manufacturers within the Off Highway, Quarrying Machinery, Rail, Heavy Duty Bus and Truck, Automotive Passenger and Light Vehicle Manufacturers (OE and aftermarket), Aerospace, Mining, Energy, and Construction Equipment markets. REASON FOR THE VACANCY: Current Head of HR is leaving. This is a stand-alone role, part of a global & European HR team, supported by a UK based HR administrative and pay-roll specialist. SITES - HRBP / HR Manager Full HR responsibility for our West Midlands / Northamptonshire manufacturing sites, and sales/service offices in Warwickshire, Yorkshire and Scandinavia. In addition, HR guidance to a HR Officer based at our Plymouth manufacturing site. RESPONSIBILITY OVERVIEW: A detailed brief will be provided to those shortlisted but we must emphasise this is an all-encompassing role covering all areas of HR. This will include: Being the professional lead on all OA/HR related activities in the UK and Scandinavia (circa 220 employees). Developing and implementing integrated HR and OA strategies as well as tactical plans to support operations across the region. Coaching / mentoring the senior leadership team and their associated managers on all OA/HR related matters. Developing and implementing a Compensation & Benefits strategy in support of Divisional and Plant business plans whilst aligned to the Company’s overall global C&B policy. Managing all HR activities across the region to deliver, attract, motivate and retain key talent. This includes the overall responsibility for recruitment activity and campaigns & talent management. Working with business leaders to determine and develop succession plans. Leading and facilitating effective change management, business re-organisation and organisational development as and when necessary. Driving performance management across the area and monitor as necessary. PERSON BRIEF - HRBP / HR Manager We are interested in receiving applications from experienced HR Managers who: Are CIPD Qualified (or above) HR Generalists within the B2B arena, preferably for a manufacturing based organisation. Have a very solid HR experience. Possess a proven track record in providing a business partner approach across a multi-site environment. Is a doer, able to think and create strategically as well as drive day to day operations. Have up to date knowledge of all relevant UK and EU employment legislation.
