Tool Repair Technician (Technical Services Department) Responsibilities and main tasks To run and maintain all aspects of the Tool Repair Department Booking in tools returned for repair on to the database Fault finding on all tooling range Preparing quotes for returned tools Quoting customers for the repair of their tools Inputting orders and allocating parts on EFACS Liaising with customers regarding tool issues and repairs On and off site tool training and demonstrations as required Ordering spares and keeping stock of regular parts Liaising with the Sales Team and the Marketing Department Liaising with Customers regarding general technical enquiries Additional tasks Working within technical team on products i.e. testing/customer issues and enquiries Competencies: Able to work on own initiative, proactive and self motivated Methodical, organised and able to prioritise Customer focussed and an ability to liaise with people Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written An aptitude for solving mechanical problems, assembling mechanical components and getting things working Ability to work underpressure, meet customer deadlines and be a team player Professional requirements, intellectual prerequisite Computer literate and competent at Microsoft Excel Good level of eduction in numeracy and literacy Working Hours 8.00am – 16.45pm Monday to Thursday, 8.00am – 12 noon Friday 37 hours per week Special requirements Full Clean Driving Licence Required as customer visits can be part of the role Rate of Pay £8.00 per hour This is a full time Temporary to Permanet position To Apply: Please Call Scott Wlson on Tel 01274 200600 and e-mail me your updated CV to Keywords Tool Repair Technician This job was originally posted as
