Business Change manages a broad portfolio of projects and programmes that help shape the future of the organisation for ourselves and our members. To succeed in this fast paced and varied role we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to work closely with business stakeholders and IT to successfully deliver business change projects. Candidates will have a strong background in project management with an excellent knowledge of project management tools and techniques. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for Planning and proactively manage projects, or work streams, through the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to implementation and closure Ensuring that all projects adhere to the CBS Change Framework. This includes production of agreed artefacts and signed off documentation at the relevant Gateways. The effective identification and management of stakeholders, anticipating points of resistance and developing plans to mitigate or address the concerns. Ensuring appropriate governance and risk management is achieved through application of project management standards Monitoring progress against budget and plan, applying proactive/creative solutions where appropriate. Managing third party resources on projects, to ensure that products and services provided are fit for purpose, are within agreed budget spend, and adhere to CBS policies and standards. Reporting progress and reports/forecasts costs of projects to PMO/Portfolio Manager accurately and in a timely manner Ensuring that changes implemented by Business Change result in a positive customer outcome that is consistent with Members First principles and the Society’s conduct risk appetite. What we’ll be looking for in you as a Project Manager PRINCE2, MSP or APM project management qualification is highly desirable. Expertise in the management of change, with professional skills in project and programme management Knowledge of business analysis techniques, the software development lifecycle and standard testing regimes Excellent stakeholder management skills Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organisation If you have the relevant skills and experience to join a growing organisation with a desire to continuously improve, please make an application This job was originally posted as
