For more information visit Mace is an equal opportunities employer Job Summary: Resource Manager providing dedicated HR and recruitment support to the Gloucestershire area, working with Department Leads on a strategic and operational basis, Directors on a strategic and operational basis, providing advice around Recruitment, Resource Management, Talent Development, Reward and Retention. The Resource Manager will translate business goals and plans into prioritised talent acquisition and resource management plans. Key Responsibilities: Identify the HR implications of strategy and business plans and provide input to the creation of people plans; Translate people plans into detailed short term resource plans and long term strategic workforce plans; Coordinate internal and external recruitment activities against detailed short term resource plans; Management of client internal recruitment forms Work closely with HR and Finance resources across Mace Group to ensure seamless delivery of HR services to the business; Lead on on-boarding of new joiners and/or transfers; Lead on the analysis of retention data and work with the business the design and implementation of targeted initiatives; Work on HR Projects in all business areas, as required and directed by the Lead HR Business Partner for Consultancy and HR Business Plan; Fully engage with and utilise human resources processes for own development, career planning and performance management; Any other ad-hoc duties as required in the role. Person Specification - Knowledge and Skills: Essential Experience in a Resource Manager / recruitment role in a profit driven, service sector environment. Demonstrable experience in building resourcing plans and retention strategies. Experience in mobilizing and demobilizing employees project to project, Demonstrable experience in managing complex HR /recruitment projects. Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to prioritize & manage multiple stakeholders. Experience of working with senior management and strong characters. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Desired Knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook. Understand how organisation development sits within wider HR practice. Knows how to run a change management programme and the key factors to ensure its success. Leadership and management experience.
