We have a fantastic opportunity for a Bid Writer to join our client, a highly prestigious global consultancy in south west London. Reporting to the Marketing Manager you will be responsible for writing and producing bid documents, proposals and presentation material to help the practice win work. The Marketing team is part of the larger Communications team that support the design studios in bidding for new work and promoting the practice through research, online media, exhibitions and publications. Key responsibilities: Working with partners, project managers and communication team members to produce written material for bid documents, OJEU responses, RFPs, RFQs, competition reports etc. Intelligent analysis of brief documents and undertake research on potential projects or clients Preparing and printing accurate and high quality bid documents using Adobe InDesign Writing and editing CVs an d past project case studies, liaising closely with individuals Understanding and learning the practice’s portfolio of work Proof reading for correction of grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors The successful candidate will have excellent skills in brief analysis, writing and communication. Essential skills and experience: A minimum of 2 years bid experience within a design or professional services company Experience writing and producing bids Educated to degree level Excellent writing skills Desirable: Experience in InDesign Fluent in foreign languages Interest in architecture, arts and design PLEASE NOTE: We CAN NOT consider anyone who does not have bid writing and bid coordination experience.
