Quality Manager – up to £40K Do you have Quality experience within a manufacturing environment? Do you have knowledge of maintaining Quality Management Systems? Responsibilities of the Quality Manager; Hands on responsibility for all aspects of product quality, promoting quality achievement and performance improvement across the organisation Promote a strong quality compliance culture Management of change to incorporate best practice quality methods Review and continued development of the Quality Management Systems. Defining processes and procedures in conjunction with operating staff , setting up and maintaining controls associated with documentation Undertaking provision of relevant quality-related training needs within the business Analysis and resolution of process/product related quality problems. Root cause analysis, using practical problem solving tools. Monitoring performance through gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports Writing technical and management system reports Production of detailed, accurate and concise investigation & analysis reports. Managing Non Conformance Database and undertaking associated Root Cause Analysis and Preventive Action measures Analysis and resolution of process/product related quality problems Ensuring compliance with ISO9001: 2008 and implementing transition to ISO9001:2015 Conducting internal and supplier audits to evaluate and approve quality systems Managing and supporting audits from customers and 3rd parties and being responsible for ensuring the execution of corrective actions and ongoing compliance with customers' specifications Personal Attributes of the Quality Manager; · Fabrication, Assembly and Electrical wiring · Working in an OEM environment. · Proven track record in quality improvements · Preparing and carrying out audits · Implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems · Producing high quality reports and documentation · Ability to gain buy-in from wide range of stakeholders What’s in it for you? · Competitive salary of up to £40K · Hours: 7.30 – 4.30 Mon to Thurs & 7.30 - 1.00pm Fridays · 20 Days Holiday Bank Holidays · Free Parking · Pension after probation This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/66795987
