Web Data Analyst / Online Data Analyst - Peterborough A Global supplier of world class engines with a leading aftermarket parts business supporting customers worldwide are now recruiting for an experienced Online Data Analyst to define analytical methodologies and reporting processes within their Aftermarkets business. You will need to be able to tell the story of a customer's interaction within the eCommerce website, pulling together complex data to form solid business intelligence and delivering recommendations to improve our online Parts business. Job Description: As the Web Data Analyst, you'll be producing actionable insight which will be used to identify opportunities to improve our website performance and ultimately the customer journey. You will also be responsible for producing insight from our social media presence, supporting social strategy development and providing recommendations to the Community Manager to increase reach and engagement via these channels. Responsible for Web Analytics and optimisation solutions and systems on the eCommerce platform. Responsible for the accurate implementation of visitor, lead and sales tracking and analysis across multiple platforms. Identify up-to-date relevant tools to support data management and analysis of campaigns. Define, monitor and implement the Web Analytics strategy and associated data analysis. Provide relevant analytics and systems training to teams where relevant. Present key findings of reports, including actionable insights for key stakeholders, including customer profiling data to feed into marketing strategies. Provide key insights and work with community manager to define and shape the social strategy for improved reach and capabilities. Develop strong relationships and engage with teams to obtain data for the business and understand the importance of analytics. Recommend and implement data modelling techniques for forecasting and insight for the business, including A/B or multivariate testing. Understand and implement segmentation such as Lifetime Value, Behavioural analysis and Model behaviour. Skills and Experience: Previous Web Analytics experience gained within either a B2B or B2C environment. Pro-active and results orientated, able to work independently as well as within a team. Previous Web Analyst experience gained in a large customer centric organisation Excellent project management skills and attention to detail. Experience of Social Media campaigns using Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn Excellent communication skills, written and oral, with the ability to translate data into commercial actionable plans and present to Senior Management Teams. Experience of analysing complex data and large data volumes. Knowledge and application of best practice customer insight principles. A demonstrable background in online web analyst research. A proven track record of identifying business growth opportunities using data analysis. Knowledge of Advanced MS Excel and VBA programming. Experience of web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics (GA), IBM Tealeaf, Spring Metrics Experience of building statistical models (logistic, regression, clustering etc.) Good IT skills using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visual Basic Spring Technology is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
