HR Manager - Must be immediately available Central Bristol £32,000 - £40,000 (Depending on Experience) Office Angels Bristol are proudly representing a government affiliated entity for the recruitment of a passionate HR Manager into their organisation. The post holder will be required to provide extensive support to the Executive Director in providing a comprehensive Human Resources function that includes the development and delivery of corporate employment policies, recruitment, HR systems and appropriate legislation. The successful candidate must be immediately available for a 4 month initial period with a potential for a permanent contract to be offered . Key responsibilities of the role will include: Employee Relations Management and Terms and Conditions of Employment: To facilitate good employee relations To act as a resource for advice on changes in employment legislation To ensure that payroll, pensions and contraction administration is completed accurately in line with terms and conditions of service To advise and support managers with absence management, disciplinary and grievance cases Development of HR Policy and Systems: To interpret new employment legislation, asses its impact on the business and change policies accordingly Monitor and audit as necessary the implementation of HR policies and performance management targets Ensure that HR information systems are developed, maintained and used effectively Ensure that HR records/personal files are kept up to date and stored confidentially in accordance with the Data Protection Act Recruitment and Selection: To ensure the provision of a comprehensive recruitment service, providing advice and guidance to managers Training and Development: Provide an operation lead and delegated budget holder for the provision of training and development Responsible for the provision and statutory training; Fire, Health and Safety, Manual Handling, Workstation assessments Skills and abilities of the successful post holder will be: High level inter-personal and influencing skills to achieve successful outcomes Ability to lead, motivate and influence teams and individuals Demonstrate the ability to work accurately and with a high level of attention to detail Calmness and resilience in order to cope with pressure and change IT literate and the ability to adapt to a variety of software and computer systems Ability to deliver training to different groups, being able to modify the delivery when required Could this be the role for you?
