Our client is looking to recruit a Learning and Development Partner to join their team in Hayward's Heath. You will be required to collaborate with the business on a day-to-day basis to ensure the key learning priorities of the business, departments, teams and individuals are met. Day-to-day responsibilities: " Conduct learning needs analysis using insight from annual reviews, exit interviews, employee/ customer feedback, meetings with key stakeholders and other talent metrics " Work closely with Managers to review learning and development interventions for technical competencies, leadership development and personal effectiveness " Provide expertise in the areas of L&D strategy, training delivery, knowledge management, professional education, and employee/ leadership development " Identify, recommend and implement L&D initiatives which help improve levels of employee engagement, retention, development and knowledge " Produce relevant reports for the L&D Manager and Head of HR and for the business " Assess L&D effectiveness through levels of evaluation to ensure the activities delivered are effective and positively impact business performance " Ensure individuals have continuous improvement and development for succession planning where applicable " Manage relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally " Introduce and implement new training processes and systems to record and review training needs and delivery " Review the training which is currently offered within the Company and ensure that it is fit for purpose, including induction and eLearning packages " Create and deliver L&D programmes in-line with business objectives utilising a variety of methods and technologies " Review training and development records, identifying and collating training needs and identifying the gaps " Implement the training schedule for all employees, establishing review dates and further training in line with employee's role and requirements of external bodies, such as the FCA " Upskill the capability of managers to effectively manage their teams, and become credible coaches and mentors " Provide excellent leadership to all direct reports " Ensure compliance with company and other relevant standards/ regulations at all times (including TCF) " Any other reasonable duties as required " Ensure that the L&D function offers a quality, cost effective service " Any other reasonable duties as required The Person " Experience at senior level in a learning and development role " Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) appropriate to the level and scope of the role " Experience in design and delivery of leadership development programmes " Experience in coaching managers at all levels " Experience in designing and delivering training interventions across a range of topics and one-to-one coaching techniques " Demonstrable L&D experience covering the whole learning cycle including needs analysis, delivery and evaluation " Experience in communicating with a range of employee grade " Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written " Presentation skills, both content and delivery " People management and leadership skills and ability to motivate employees in a high pressurised environment " Influencing and negotiation skills " Good time management and organisation skills " Problem solving skills with the ability to adopt a logical approach to solving problems " Good numeracy skills " Competent technical skills dependent on functional expertise " Commercially focussed " Self motivated and enthusiastic " Embrace, embed and incorporate the Company values " Target driven and results focussed " An organised and pro-active approach " Takes initiative to make decisions " Emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy " A flexible approach and positive attitude " Strives to deliver performance targets and drive business improvements to contribute to the success of the business " Training or Coaching qualification essential Knowledge " Expert knowledge of L&D strategies and L&D interventions " Good understanding of the business objectives " Strong knowledge of FCA requirements (including TCF) How to apply: To apply for this role please forward your CV in confidence quoting reference 1610-21SH or alternatively please contact Stuart Holland on 0845 543 6288.
