Who will I be working for? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to join the Engineering/Facilities team in a growing pharmaceutical development company. You will be working in one of the leading manufacturers in their field. The company works with clients with a global reach. What will I be doing? In the role of Contracts Supervisor you to be both · proactive in managing current contracts, · sourcing new suppliers and negotiating contracts. · The successful candidate will be able to proactively support contracts supervision, vendor selection, monitoring metrics, project management and efficiency and cost saving plans. · You will also manage the CMMS system. · This opportunity would be ideal for an internal candidate wishing to learn new skills and have a clear development plan within a busy Engineering/Facilities team. A full training and development plan will be provided which will lead to a senior supervisor role and possibly beyond when development objectives have been met. Training will include: Operation and administration of a Shire Systems Pirana CMMS system Project management Facilities management GMP and GEP regulations Purified water plants (design, operation and maintenance) City and Guilds in Legionella Control Other appropriate statutory training (e.g. F gas, PED, Atex) Optional training: Trade skill (e.g. electrical, mechanical, process) Job Role Responsibilities Be proactive and work as part of the Engineering Team on a day to day basis Ensure that planned and unplanned maintenance is carried out in a timely manner and right first time Direct responsibility for external contractors, including contract negotiation and arranging schedules of work Ensure GMP, and EHS compliance at all times Ensure other relevant regulatory compliance (e.g. legionella, PED, F-gas) Support Facilities/Engineering capital investment projects Support local energy management and improvement programs Manage the CMMS system, producing metrics and completion of tasks within the system What skills and experience do I need? Degree or higher qualification or engineering/facilities related qualification Excellent communication and proven trouble shooting skills Desirable A working knowledge and practical experience with working within a maintenance environment Experience in purchase, validation and life cycle management of GMP process equipment Knowledge of GEP In addition to base salary and holidays we offer a comprehensive benefits package.
