Technical Lead Account Manager Location: Gloucestershire - commutable from Gloucester, Bristol, Bath, Somerset, Hereford and Worcester Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 per annum Job Purpose To control the team's management of all work requirements for assigned clients, coordinating internally and externally, and to deliver to these work requirements as internal/external projects. To maintain a positive commercial relationship between clients and company, both financially and as a strong client/company relationship. To hold line management responsibility for any account managers and/or account executives assigned to the account team: managing their workload, performance and development opportunities. Key Responsibilities Day to Day 1. Be the first line of contact with the client to ensure that all client work - retainer and ad-hoc projects - are delivered on time and on budget 2. Manage the financial control of clients within your portfolio, ensuring the necessary paperwork has been raised within required timescales and is kept up to date. 3. Maintain all client job folders to include all related job information including briefs and correspondence 4. Liaise with internal teams to deliver the services required to complete projects 5. Liaison with third parties for provision of any agreed services (eg: data file provision) for internal teams to meet their briefed requirements; ensuring necessary documentation (eg: signed off POs in advance of any third party chargeable actions) is raised; ensuring files etc are sent and received to timescale and are documented in accordance with any regulatory measures the business adheres to. 6. Liaison with third parties for provision of any agreed services to cover costs, consideration of costs vs charges to clients; identify and escalate any requirement for commercial negotiation/ documentation (such as NDA's and contracts) to AD 7. Take responsibility for the issue and circulation of regular project updates. 8. To be responsible for ensuring that all administrative support is kept up to date at all times, all systems are used as listed and in accordance with any regulatory measures the business adheres to. 9. Assist the AD in provision of the Team's advice of project completion or output delivery, to client or third parties, in writing and to timescale, ensuring all deliverables have been met, that work has been QC'ed and that the internal teams are provided with all required details (eg: contact details/FTP site details) to deliver projects on time 10. Communicate effectively with the client to obtain necessary approvals for all work undertaken, including timing plans as stated in project plans and schedules, costings and any decisions that are taken in the delivery of a project - ensuring that such requirements and decisions are confirmed in writing and held as record in client job folders. Experience Account Management experience, ideally in a technical environment CRM and data experience Additional experience in marketing automation and IT applications such as Fast Stats, Qlik Sense/Qlik View preferable Considerable and recent experience of leading or managing major projects across cross-functional teams Other key skills, knowledge and competencies A numerate, efficient problem solver who can demonstrate structured thinking Demonstrable communication, influencing and relationship management skills An ability to motivate and inspire a team of account managers and account executives A strategic thinker who can make clear assessment of business opportunities Excellent attention to detail Due to the high volume of applications we receive it is not always possible to respond to unsuccessful applicants.
