The Role: An e xci ting opportunity has arisen for a n expe rien c ed Commercia l Property Solicitor to join o ur client’s tea m to dea l wit h a varied cas eload of co mmer cia l prop erty transactions. Expe r ience of han d l ing fil es from sta rt to completion with s upervi s ion is essential. Pr e - qua lif ying experience i s acknowledged. Responsibilities: · To manage all client work allocated and in accordance with detailed procedures and quality standards contained in the firm’s Office Manual. · At all times to exe rcise high standards of client care in a profes s ional and pleasant manner. · To ensure that all client work is progressed e x peditiously and that the client is kept regularly informed on progre ss and oncosts. · To ensure the confidentiality and security of all of the firm’s and client documentation and information. · To achieve agreed level s of billing and tim e recording. · Liaise closely with the Cash Office, to hav e overall responsibility for credit control on ownmatters. · To c omply with the Solicitors Account s Rules and the Rules of the Profe ss ional Condu c t ofSolicitors. · To maintain clear and precis e communications with other personn e l in thefirm. · To ensure good working relation s hips with e x ternal in st itution s and organisations. · To supervise, s upport and develop immediate supportstaff. · To take re spo nsibility for and attend to self-development. · In co njunction with the firm, co mply with the relevant training requirem e nts of the LawSo c iety and to assist within-hou se training as mayberequir e d. · Liaise with Head of department and other partners , to b e active in promoting theservicesof th e firm a nd its im age and e thos. Education/Skills/attributes required: · A t l eas t 2 y ears' ex p erience of w or kin g in a Commercial Property l aw pre o r po s t qualifying, · IT Lit era t e a nd expe ri ence of u si n g Microsoft Office p ackages. · Ability to prioritise work lo ads and deal with competing demands.
