The role holder will develop professional networks to bring best practice approaches and relevant data to their work and develop strong relationships with HR and business colleagues at all levels to facilitate delivery of the HR model. Client Details My client is based in Edinburgh. Description Lead/support the annual pay and bonus (design and award allocation) cycle, ensuring that areas of responsibility, including effective salary benchmarking and relevant data analysis and research are completed in line with project timetable Lead/support the annual launch and ongoing management of flexible benefits, ensuring that areas of responsibility including research, analysis, communications and systems work are completed in line with project timetable As part of project teams and on an individual basis provide subject matter expertise to the HR function and business colleagues, to deliver relevant, commercial and effective solutions Support executive remuneration and remuneration regulation agendas to ensure they are well managed and the organisation is compliant with relevant regulatory environment Carry out job evaluation of roles, ensuring that outcomes are consistent with those carried out previously and that results are fed back promptly to the relevant business area through the relevant HR channels, ensuring the integrity of the broader Organisation Design Profile Skills: Good organisational skills given the autonomy the role offers Strong numerical and analytical skills Microsoft Excel capability Good contracting/consulting skills (internally and externally) to ensure projects and workload are delivered High level of integrity given role has access to sensitive data Strong skills in data management and presentation of information to meet stakeholder requirements Good reporting writing skills Knowledge: General understanding of reward agenda (salary, bonus, benefits) and its relationship with business success Knowledge of job evaluation methodology Some specialist reward experience Experience of successfully influencing within an organisation Experience of implementing customer centric solutions and approaches to remuneration Good educational background (ideally degree level or equivalent) Relevant CIPD or business qualification would be beneficial Job Offer £competitive 12 month contract This job was originally posted as
