Purpose of the post The purpose of the post is to work with unemployed learners to teach manufacturing and lean qualifications within our programmes, which will enable learners to progress into full time employment. You will be required to design and deliver innovative training courses and training materials in line with business and qualification framework requirements. Job Description Delivery and Design 1. To design and deliver innovative training courses within the manufacturing programmes. 2. Ensure the lessons delivered motivate and differentiate for learners age and abilities through group based, blended and practical learning. 3. To prepare quality documentation to support classroom delivery, including schemes of work, lesson plans and course materials, which meet qualification and evaluation requirements and are relevant to the specific industry/sector. 4. To support curriculum development working with the course lead to evaluate and review the quality and effectiveness of the training programmes. 5. Be responsible for ensuring that all learning delivery is undertaken in a positive, safe and disciplined learning environment in line with codes of expected behaviour defined in the learner handbook and company policies. 6. To directly support learners with specific learning needs. Quality and Business Targets 7. To participate in observations and quality audits to ensure all programmes are delivered in line with Ofsted, auditing and awarding body requirements. 8. To provide effective learner feedback and to maintain and record progress and evaluation in accordance with company procedures. 9. Attend standardisation and programme review meetings, participate in the planning and implementation of schemes of assessment and exchange of information and best practices. 10.
