Due to continued growth we are currently recruiting for On Street Supervisor to be based in London - Westminster . The purpose of the role is to supervise and motivate a team of Senior Civil Enforcement officers and civil enforcement officers whilst on-street, ensuring quality service delivery. You will also be responsible for training new Civil Enforcement Officers to the NSL standards. Key elements of the role: To be a fully accredited Civil Enforcement Officer To prepare in advance and monitor all rosters on a daily and weekly basis To staff the radio base station and deal with enquiries from the Supervisors and Civil Enforcement Officers on street To brief, inspect and post Civil Enforcement Officers to their duties daily, ensuring full coverage of all beats To deal with enquiries from Civil Enforcement Officers on duty To undertake in-house training of Civil Enforcement Officers to the standard required to gain basic and NVQ qualifications To assist staff, particularly those who interact with the public and to respond immediately to requests for assistance from staff in confrontation with aggressive and violent members of the public.In dangerous situations call for the police To carry out daily/weekly team briefings To be flexible and carry out any other duties as and when required by the management To enforce TMA 2004 legislation and the Council’s policies in respect of parking controls by issuing Penalty Charge Notices to vehicles in contravention of the regulations To upload/download data from hand held computers To authorise vehicles for specific clamp and removal action in line with contact guidelines (where applicable) To check accuracy of pocket books whilst on street and at the end of duty To carry out investigations relating to notices issued and to monitor the reasons for any notice cancellation To suspend and reinstate parking spaces/bays/places To be responsible for the effective enforcement of the Special Parking Area, carrying out inspections as and when required and reporting any unclear street markings The ideal candidate: Ability to communicate with the client and represent NSL at client level Ability to communicate with staff effectively at all levels Ability to organise and motivate contract staff Ability to Delegate tasks when necessary Familiarity of the TMA 2004, the RTA1991 and other Parking legislation FPN Knowledge is preferable CBT or Full driving licence You will be required to work 47.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays) Shifts vary between the hours of 00:00 and 23:59, flexibility for the role is essential.
