The Role: This is a highly influential role, working closely with principal stakeholders, process owners and systems and oversight committees. This is a leadership position where you will be directly responsible for managing the provision of Group-wide IT technical infrastructure and services supporting current and future business strategies and plans. Reporting to the Head of IT, your brief will span both IT change, ensuring that all IT services are fit for purpose when passed into production and strong IT leadership in a dynamic environment. To do this you will need to provide strong technical and management leadership to the Technical Delivery team and provide senior management and executive level support to ensure technical and business alignment across the Group. Strong problem and solutions management experience in an end user environment is vital and in addition, we're looking for you to : Be accustomed to working in a leadership role at a senior level and clearly evidence your experience of influencing technical experts and senior non-technical stakeholders in both one-to-one and committee environments Develop and lead a high performing team who deliver an exceptional customer and end user experience Develop and implement IT design strategies that turn IT into an enabler of business transformation Manage the delivery, support and maintenance of our strategic IT infrastructure and systems Manage the lifecycle of IT Projects and Small Change ensuring that delivery risk and impact is understood and planned for To perform this role, we expect you to have the following: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or similar (essential) Advanced/Base SAS certification, or equivalent Unix/Solaris certification, or equivalent Oracle certification, or equivalent Cognos Administration About us: We put people first in everything we do and are always looking for new professionals to join our talented teams.
