Senior Systems Integration Consultant Type: Permanent position Location: London or Manchester Package: Competitive salary & excellent benefits Join an established, reputable, global multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy to work on some of the most interesting Rail projects in the world. Employing around 18,000 people worldwide, they offer a range of professional services and work closely with their clients. This opportunity is in their rail division - one of their largest and continuously growing divisions - where they work on a projects throughout the full project lifecycle assisting clients such as Network Rail, TFL and Hitachi. The ideal candidate will have strong experience within systems design / integration and be proficient in the use of IT applications, in particular Telelogic DOORS, MS Visio and Excel. It is essential that candidates have strong technical capability within systems engineering with strong communication skills in order to project manage defined packages of work. Key accountabilities / experience required: Deploying high standards of practice within Systems Integration, including having a relevant knowledge of industry standards. Lead the capture, development and management of requirements on a major engineering programme. Lead the development and use of systems architectures through the appropriate use of tools and techniques. Supporting the technical consultancy on Safety Engineering, Reliability/RAM, Ergonomics, EMC, performance simulation, risk and other related activities. Support the continuous development of an IT based Systems Integration Management tool kit. Support the Service Team Leader in the identification and pursuit of new business and also existing business opportunities with prospective / existing clients. Be able to apply pragmatic best practice systems engineering techniques to support bids and tenders. Follow company project management, commercial, safety, quality and environmental procedures are followed as relevant to tasks undertaken. Proficient in IBM DOORS, MS Excel, Visio, Word and Access.
