R ole Outline The Tender Manager is responsible for the development and management of individual tenders with our Public and Private sector customers. Major framework and mini competitions Development of press advertising, working with our in house designers Supporting the Companies Tenders with mood boards Job Responsibilities: Perform an initial review of the Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents to establish the scope of work, the Tender schedule and the composition of the Tender team. Clarify any item(s) that are unclear. Use a scoring system to determine which tenders to persue and which to reject. Determine, in collaboration with the National Sales Manager Area Sales Manager, physical format for tender, including cover set, tabs, photos, etc. Plan tender reviews and submittal deadlines according to Customer requirements. Participate in all tender stage meetings. Ensure that all relevant data and information compiled during the tender development phase is considered and made available to all Tender team members. Develop clarifications, tender submittal, post-submittal clarifications, etc. Maintain accurate records and files (manual & electronic) of all the tender data (i.e. correspondence, quotations, internal input, etc). Liaise with all tender team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer requirements. Completion of prequalification documents. Qualifications/ Attributes sought Degree educated preferably in Marketing or Business studies Clear experience in managing public sector and private sector bids and tenders Some experience of working on University, NHS tenders would be preferable Highly Organized with time management skills and project Management Excellent PC skills to, amongst other items, Excel Spreadsheets and Word. Good written and oral communication skills. Good team building/working skills. Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and to self-prioritize.
