Great opportunity for an IT / Systems professional with proven Control Room experience, ideally within the logistics / automated distribution industry. The role of Control Room Manager is to manage a team of system experts to ensure smooth system and product flow to exceed operational KPI’s. The role is the main point of contact for the site leadership team and will be required to meet set targets in line with the company’s values. Essential Skills Proven experience of working in a team in a Control Room environment in an automated distribution centre, ideally within a fast moving e-commerce and retail environment Detailed understanding of the functionality and operation of warehouse control systems Good understanding of the end to end process within an automated Distribution Centre Customer focussed and aware of the external and internal customer requirements for quality, efficiency and accuracy. Understanding of Operational Excellence/Continuous improvement tools, techniques and problem resolution skills with the ability to apply these skills within a Distribution operation.
