Training and Development Co-ordinator Our client is one of the largest providers of low-cost, online investment platforms and stockbroker services in the UK. Position: Training and Development Co-ordinator Location: Old Trafford, Manchester Job type: Full Time, Permanent Salary: £22,500-£28,000 DOE benefits Benefits: Discretionary 5% bonus scheme, DIS, Pension contributions, Healthcare scheme, and 22 days holiday up to 29 days (for completed service). About the role: They are now recruiting a Training & Development Co-ordinator. Reporting to the Training & Development Manager, the main responsibilities of the Training & Development Co-ordinator will be to deliver key training sessions for employees and to provide high quality administrative support for training activities - in particular the Skills to Progress (STP) framework throughout Client Services. The post holder will work closely with the Training & Development Manager to supervise and drive activity to support the Management Development Programme (MDP) and general development activities throughout the whole business. Responsibilities: - Deliver key training sessions for employees including critical STP sessions (such as Company Awareness and Building Customer Relationships) and ad-hoc delivery of other training sessions as required. - Provide full support of STP framework to Managers, Team Leaders and Team Members across Manchester and Tunbridge Wells offices. - Co-ordinate and maintain the schedule of company training events and activities, liaising with the Training & Development Manager and other company trainers. - Supervise on-line assessments. - Invigilate external exams - Create and maintain accurate records in the HR system. - Liaise with departmental managers and staff to book people onto training sessions and issue joining instructions to participants. - Monitor, evaluate and report on attendance and participant feedback from company training activities. - Produce monthly training statistics and round-ups. - Participate in projects and other business activities as required. - Work with the HR and Training Assistant to ensure smooth running of the day to day induction and training activities. About you: - CIPD Certificate in Training Practice. - Coaching, training and presenting skills. - Experience co coordinating departmental activities. - Excellent communication skills. - Energy, resilience, be committed and self-motivated. - Positive attitude. - The ability to plan and organise effectively; good time management. - Experience with e-learning support. - Demonstrable understanding of financial services including pensions & investments. Ideally hold Financial Services qualifications (IOC, Cert FA etc.). - Excellent literacy and numeracy. - Effective IT Skills, e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
