A HSE Coordinator role in Sheffield, South Yorkshire with a world class manufacturer, working within the heavy industry. Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Manager, the HSE Coordinator use their knowledge and skills to promote a positive health and safety culture. HSE Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities Include: - Ensuring all health, safety and environmental legislation is adhered to - Assist in the planning and monitoring the protective and preventative measures used by the company - Prepare and develop health, safety and environmental strategies and policies - Carry out risk assessments and consider how risks can be reduced - Leading in-house training with managers - Keeping up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all Health and Safety legislation The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience: - NEBOSH certificate, ideally working towards diploma (or equivalent) - Several years in a HSE focused role If you want to discuss this position in more detail, please call Simone Fox at Elevation Recruitment Group on 01709 723 248 or 07860 920 405.
