Product Manager required for brand new role with exciting consumer product business based in Plymouth. Client Details Our client is a leading consumer products business with a proud heritage and high end products. With multiple locations in the UK and a truly global distribution network, they are looking for a Product Manager to join the business and take a lead on all commercial product decisions to include innovation. Description Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will assume responsibility for all product related aspects of the business (innovation, positioning, net sales, margin, distribution, training). This newly created role is designed to support global expansion and will give you the opportunity to use market information to enable exciting new product development (NPD) ideas, as well as leading the NPD committee in delivering against launch and promotion time lines. You'll educate the sales team and the trade channels in all new product offerings and will ensure that product is championed and remains central to everything that that the business does both domestically and globally. In addition, you'll continually analyse the success of existing products and if necessary evaluate how to re-position and whether they remain commercially viable.
