Posting date: 06/10//2016 Closing date: 28/10/2016 Location: London We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to create web based solutions to improve the studio’s internal systems. The role reports directly to the Head of Digital Systems. The role requires a close working relationship across all of the studio domains to capture, analyse and interrogate the individual domain requirements for system improvement. From this analysis and in-line with the studios long term goals, the appropriate solution to each requirement will need to be developed into an integrated management system. Key responsibilities of the role include: Fully responsible for the development of the studio’s web based digital systems Define the required infrastructure to host the applications identified by each domain Define and implement a database scheme that efficiently and accurately captures the studios required data model Develop an API to define how individual modules communicate, share functionality and deliver efficient code generation Define a user interface for the system to give a consistent user experience Define a framework that captures errors and feeds back to users in a friendly and consistent way Ensure produced code is sufficiently commented to ensure ease of access other team members or future understanding The successful candidate will have at least 5 years previous experience in an applications / full stack developer related role. You will be technically skilled in and have experience of web application development, be well-versed in object-orientated programming and design, have excellent knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and working knowledge of server-side frameworks. In addition to this, it is essential that candidates are fully proficient with SQL (data modelling and data manipulation, RESTful APIs and have had exposure to AWS, Google Cloud. Candidates should possess strong all-round technical and analytical skills and demonstrate an ability to problem-solve with innovative and clearly communicated solutions. As the role works across all domains, excellent interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholders is required. This is a 12 month fixed term contract No agencies please.
