If you’re passionate about local ingredients, home-made dishes and home-baked products, this could be just the job for you. We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to run a section within the kitchen brigade, working as part of our expert catering team at our 5-star nursing and dementia home in Exeter. You will be expected to work collaboratively as part of the catering team to ensure our residents and guests have an exceptional dining experience at every meal. All our food is cooked to order and our a la carte menus change daily, so there’s plenty of variety. We will provide you with an on-site training programme so can continue to grow and develop your skills, plus your uniform will be provided and laundered in-house. Job Title: Chef de Partie Reporting to: Head Chef Hours: Full time 40 hours / week – 4 days on, 3 days off on rota Location: Green Tree Court, 81 Harrington Lane, Exeter, Devon EX4 8NS Start date: ASAP Salary: £18,000 to £20,000 according to experience You will need to have previous experience working in a Rosette-awarded restaurant (or similar) and ideally an NVQ level 2 in food safety or equivalent.
