Cost Accountant Wrexham Salary in the region of £30K PA Pension 39 hours per week, 8am - 5pm Monday - Thursday, 8am - 1pm Friday TM Resourcing are currently recruiting for their well known worldwide aerospace engineering client based in Wrexham. They are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join their team. Our client provides complex assemblies and systems solutions to aircraft and engine manufacturers, and defence and space agencies worldwide. They design, engineers and manufactures aero engine and aero structure assemblies and components for aerospace markets, advanced products for military and space markets, industrial power generation, and specialty products. Duties: Build up and maintenance of Product costs on a computer system Monitoring of actual costs against standard and reporting and investigation of variances Assist in the calculation of machine hourly cost rates Preparation of weekly / monthly management reports on product profitability Liaise with other departments to produce recommendations for margin improvement Preparation ad investigation of stock take variances Review and appraisal of computer system Preparation of year end supporting schedules for internal and external audits Preparation of data to assist budget setting exercises Liaise closely with GM's IT and Senior Finance Staff to assist decision making process Ad hoc tasks for GM's and Finance Managers Provide financial information to commercial team during bidding process INDUSTRY / PRODUCT EXPERIENCE Costing Experience within manufacturing (Aerospace experience would be beneficial) Highly I.T Proficient Very hands on approach Happy to work in non-financial environment OPPORTUNITIES Lots of progression within a truly international, progressive and growing organisation.
