Senior Field Network Engineer – 2nd / 3rd Line Network Support London and South East £30,000 - £40,000 Plus Overtime As a Microsoft Gold Partner, Our IT network support company works with a range of small and medium sized businesses in London and the South East. We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Field Network Engineer to join our Team. Joining a friendly and professional team, in this position you will be responsible for providing 2nd to 3rd line support to customers throughout London and the South East. As a Senior Field Network Engineer your responsibilities will include: - Providing ad-hoc IT support on a day to day basis - Providing support and managing the technical relationship with clients - Providing advice to junior engineers - Designing and delivering server / network installations To succeed in this position you must have significant experience of network support and knowledge of MS server technology including MS Exchange server. Along with your excellent oral and written communication skills, as a Senior Field Network Engineer you will also need the following: - Excellent knowledge of Active Directory, TCP/IP - Project planning, documentation and management experience - Experience of multiple Windows 2000 / 2003 / Exchange server installations as lead engineer - Experience of firewall configuration - VPN configuration Although not essential, it would be beneficial if you have any Microsoft (MCP, MCSE etc) or Cisco accreditations.
