Baltic Training Services are delighted to be recruiting for a leading IT Support company based in London who are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Software Development Apprentice. Our client are an IT Support company who aim to bridge the gap between traditional computer infrastructure and modern cloud computing . Employing the best-fit technology and accommodating any size business, they offer standard and cost-effective IT solutions with no long term contracts. Due to their ongoing success they are looking to expand their small team through a Software Development Apprentice. Reporting to the Director, you will be based in a professional office close to Bermondsey Station; with the client offering to pay for a monthly travel card. Working hours are 9.00am -6.00pm and offering a competitive apprenticeship wage of £4.50 per hour. Duties you will be involved in will include: Producing applications that fit different business' requirements . Will use Apple's 'File Maker' platform (will receive training/ accreditation on this platform) - this is a non-technical way of creating apps for clients' products . Create standard workflows for businesses to replace their current processes (will be trained on this) . Producing applications that run on cloud, Windows, MAC and IOS . Working with clients including property companies, law firms and more . Training to be provided : Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Software Development. Level 3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence. Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Systems and Principles. Level 2 Functional Skills (English, Maths and ICT) Skills Required: Self-motivated and desire to learn new skills on a daily basis. Ability to keep a level head in a busy environment and adapt to changes quickly. Problem solver. Organized, friendly and approachable. Personal Qualities: Ability to work in a team and on your own initiative. Presentable. Attention to detail. Hardworking and motivated. Qualifications Required: Preferably 5 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent/predicted.
