Overview Catering Manager required for an interim role in Durham. You will be required to manage and lead the catering team to provide a high quality and variety of hot and cold refreshments. This is a part-time role, offering around 30 hours per week. The Role You will be responsible for organising and managing weekly menus, orders, deliveries and stock levels of all consumables, overseeing the preparation and serving of hot and cold food and the management of the till operations including customer sales. In addition to this you will be responsible for the monitoring of weekly and monthly operational budgets and GDP returns and all health & safety routines within the Caf?. Experience/Qualifications Required Experience of working in a caf?/small kitchen Must have basic L2 Food Handling Qualifications, would prefer L3 in Food Safety but not essential Managerial experience essential Operating a Barista Machine desirable Good background knowledge of health & safety in a kitchen and allergen knowledge Be able to use Excel Remuneration £8.50 to £9.50 per hour.
