Job Description: Randstad care are currently looking for hard working, enthusiastic and caring individuals to work with Adult service users in a Residential Home in Bromley. This position is for a full time, permanent basis and carries a salary of up to £8.05 per hour with enhancements on weekend shifts, evenings and sleep ins at £25. The successful candidates will be required to carry out personal care and helping the service users live fulfilling lifestyles. This role is to support adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, challenging behaviour and brain injuries. Responsibilities Be a caring adult role model Promote the independence of all pupils to the best of their ability Ensure knowledge is kept up to date and relevant through attendance of team meetings, training programmes and constant sharing of information Attend regular supervision meetings and appraisals to ensure good practice Help contribute to the care plans of each service user, ensuring they are tailored to their individual abilities and needs Complete any administrative tasks necessary for the role Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures to ensure the safety and welfare of all service users Requirements: Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships Caring and compassionate nature Be respectful and sensitive to the needs of all service users, taking into account race, religion, culture, sexuality, language and disability Willingness to attend training in order to improve skills and knowledge Previous experience in a care role (paid or voluntary) is desirable but not required Benefits: All staff will be provided with comprehensive training to enable them to develop and succeed in their role Work within a dedicated and close team of staff who are committed to providing the highest quality specialist care and education for our young people Opportunity to pick up additional National Qualifications If you are interested in this role please call Laura Murphy on 020 7400 6058 option 2 or email Randstad Care is the UK's leading social care recruiter.
