Role – Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Navy, RAF, Army, Industrial) Salary - £36,000 Overtime Location – Rugby Shift Pattern – Continentals T he Company ATA Recruitment is currently working with one of the largest providers of automated material handling systems in the world. The company turns over more than £1 billion worldwide and over £50 million in the UK alone. They are currently employing around 200 staff and growing. The company designs, manufactures and installs a wide range of machinery including cranes, conveyor systems, shuttle systems and robots. The site in Rugby is a new site providing an automated storage and retrieval system for a major client in the retail industry. This Multi Skilled Maintenance role offers a great opportunity to join an inspired and together team and to work for a company who can offer great training and development to candidates either directly from the forces or from a different industry background. The client is really interested in seeing electrically trained candidates from the RAF, Army or Navy as well as multi skilled candidates with an electrical qualification with manufacturing or industrial experience. The Role The role of Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (RAF, Army, Navy) will involve: The planned and reactive maintenance and service of pallet retrieval cranes, pallet conveyors, elevators and a monorail system. Mechanically you will mainly be replacing worn out parts on the conveyors which will include rollers, bearings and pulleys. Electrical work will include reading through electrical schematics, utilizing electrical test equipment such as multi-meters and fault finding on panels. Working in an extremely large and fast paced environment as the site will be moving up to 1,600 totes per hour at its peak. The Person To be successful as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Army, Navy, RAF) you will need: An electrical qualification. (ONC, HNC, HND, NVQ level 3 or City and Guilds) Either to be electrically qualified from an RAF, Navy or Army background or an industrial maintenance engineer with an electrical qualification. Comfortable working at heights on 20m high cranes. Happy to work a continental shift pattern.
