We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to be the driving force behind generating new sales leads and contacts. This is a new post designed to help achieve the Institution’s strategic aims to increase membership, Technical Standards sales and industry training through our Academy. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining key relationships and negotiating and closing business deals as well as maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions. You will also have set financial targets that must be met in order for the Institution to meet its projected revenue generation and will be required to travel in the UK. You’ll be required to spend a large amount of time visiting members/clients and attending networking events. You will be given a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the largest gas organisations in the world including DNV GL, National Grid, SGN, Wales and West Utilities, Northern Gas Networks, Parsons Brinckerhoff Ltd, E.ON and Morrison Utility Services. You’ll need to be bursting with self-confidence, love networking and enjoy presenting and public speaking.
