Once installed, the maintenance and repair of the systems falls to either on site teams or teams of Dematic mobile support engineers. The planning and organisation of these mobile support engineers to make sure we have the right person in the right place at the right time is an important part of the delivery strategy therefore. This role will take full ownership for this process. Key responsibilities: Plan daily activities of engineering team Undertake all administrative activities for the team to include: Holiday planning Service reporting Breakdown reporting PPE and PFPE legislative adherence Catching gear inspection compliance Issuance of all paperwork to Engineers necessary to undertake daily activities i.e. timesheets, RAMS, instruction manuals Calibration of tools Maintenance of the callout rota Production of job sheets/receipt of timesheets Audit of equipment (tools and vehicles) Maintain the training database to include:- Ensure Engineers training remains current Booking and planning of training days Recording of standards achieved Plan and coordinate 3 rd Party activities i.e. Compressor servicing, welding work, hire and off-hire of equipment Coordinate reactive support calls to include:- First line response to support requests (telephone or email) Despatch of correct engineering resources (correct skills and tools) Maintain customer contact to ensure call is closed out and report issued Maintain Contract Database to include:- Site details (address, customer name, telephone numbers) Contract deliverables (scope, duration) Timely issuance of contract renewals Maintain central store for contract particulars Adhere to Dematic’s processes, procedures, H&S requirements at all times. To be successful in this highly business critical role, you will ideally have previous experience within a planning role for a mobile engineering team. You will have an a bility to work under own initiative and to work well under pressure, particularly to customer’s service level requirements.
