Town Planner, Gloucester – Town & Transport Planning. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Planner to join an award winning, UK established Town & Transport Planning Consultancy. Our client has a very strong reputation in providing planning and development consultancy across England and Wales, and are currently looking to grow the team size in their Gloucester based office. Despite being recognised as a consultancy; our client has a strong team made up of experienced Planners with substantial local authority experience. As such, our client welcomes applications from Planners with public sector experience. Due to our client’s diverse nature, you will be given the opportunity to work on a wide and varied portfolio of projects from large scale housing developments through to commercial/retail schemes and sport and leisure facility projects. With this in mind, our client would prefer to see applications from well-rounded Planners who hold experience working on a variety of different schemes. If, however you hold particular experience in a specific type of sector within Planning, you must show an ambition to diversify and work in a number of different sectors within the business. Our client is a small establishment, and favour candidates who are keen to develop long term within a business. Typically, our client looks to take on Junior/Consultant level Planners with around 1-4 years’ experience. You will then be provided with the opportunity to train and develop long term within the organisation. Salary - £20,000 to £30,000 depending on experience.
